Yap\u0131lan analizde 538 genin entelekt\u00fcel yeteneklerle ilgili oldu\u011fu, insan genomunda da 187 b\u00f6lgenin d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnme becerileri ile ba\u011flant\u0131l\u0131 oldu\u011fu tespit edilmi\u015ftir. Bu genlerin bir k\u0131sm\u0131n\u0131n da \u201cdaha uzun ya\u015famak\u201d gibi farkl\u0131 biyolojik s\u00fcre\u00e7lerde yer ald\u0131\u011f\u0131 da belirtilmi\u015ftir. Buna ra\u011fmen bir insan\u0131n genetik yap\u0131s\u0131ndan zekas\u0131n\u0131 tahmin etmek hala olduk\u00e7a zor kabul edilmektedir. Bir grup insanda yap\u0131lan DNA analizinde insanlar aras\u0131ndaki zeka farkl\u0131l\u0131l\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 tahmin etme oran\u0131 sadece %7 olarak belirlenmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n<p>Konu daha da detayland\u0131r\u0131lacak olursa burada bireylerden ziyade ortalama istatistiklerden bahsedilmektedir. Yenido\u011fanda yakla\u015f\u0131k %20 olan bu oran, \u00e7ocuklukta %40, yeti\u015fkinlikte ise %60 olarak ifade edilmektedir. Bu durum \u00e7ocuklar\u0131n genetik \u00f6zelliklerine uygun deneyimler arayarak kendilerini geli\u015ftirmeleri \u015feklinde a\u00e7\u0131klanabilir.<\/p>\n<p>Burada ge\u00e7en bilgilerin yan\u0131 s\u0131ra temel olarak zekan\u0131n anneden ge\u00e7ti\u011fi hipotezini ifade eden farkl\u0131 iddialar da bulunmaktad\u0131r.
